The Donetsk research station is part of the network of the Institute of Vegetables and Melons Growing of NAAS.
The station was created for the purpose of scientific support for the functioning of the field of vegetable growing and melon growing in the eastern region of Ukraine, which includes the organization and conduct of scientific research and scientific support for growing seeds of higher reproduction vegetable crops.
The main areas of research:
- creation of new varieties and hybrids of vegetable and melon crops;
- development and improvement of methods of primary seed production;
- scientific support for growing seeds of higher reproductions;
- development and improvement of technologies for growing varietal seeds of vegetable crops.
