Meeting of the Academic Council

On March 23, a meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing took place. The following was considered and approved at the meeting:

• the thematic plan of research works of the institution for 2023;
• the publishing plan of the IOB of the National Academy of Sciences for the current year;
• report on the results of economic and financial activity of the institution for 2022;
• the report on the work of the tasting commission of the IOB of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine, the composition of the tasting commission (in the number of 15 people) was reviewed and approved, a new chairman of the tasting commission was appointed (Sergienko O.V., deputy director of the IOB of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine for scientific work) and the secretary (S.M. Datsenko, senior researcher of the laboratory of adaptive vegetable growing, storage and standardization of IOB of the Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine);
• the study guide L.M. was reviewed and approved for printing Puzik, O.V. Kuts, V.A. Bondarenko, S.O. Shcherbyna "Commodity science of vegetable products".

A preliminary discussion of the applications that will be submitted to the competition for applied and short-term research applications for 2024-2025 to NAAS was held.
