Defense of the dissertation by Maryna Oleksandrivna SHAPKO

On April 28, 2026, at a meeting of the ad hoc specialized academic council of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS of Ukraine, Maryna Oleksandrivna SHAPKO successfully defended her dissertation on the topic «Elements of Organic Technology for Growing Tomato Seeds in the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe Region of Ukraine» for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialty 201 – Agronomy.

Principal Investigators: Oleksandr Volodymyrovych KUTS, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences, Senior Researcher and Associate Professor in the Department of Agrochemistry at the State University of Biotechnology, and Maksym Viktorovych HURIN, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Research Associate at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Seed Production of Vegetable and Melon Crops, Institute of Vegetable and Melon Crops, National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.

Zinchenko at Uman National University under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, unanimously adopted a decision regarding the compliance of the dissertation with the requirements of the «Procedure for Awarding the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Revoking the Decision of a One-Time Specialized Academic Council of a Higher Education Institution, scientific institution regarding the awarding of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy,» approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 44 dated January 12, 2022, and awarded Maryna Oleksandrivna Shapko the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 20 – Agricultural Sciences and Food, in the specialty 201 – Agronomy.
