Participation in the General Meeting of the Plant Science Branch of the NAAS

On April 23, 2025, the general meeting of the Plant Growing Division of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS) was held, attended by the Acting Director of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing, Dr. of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksii ALFOROV, and the Deputy Director for scientific work, Dr. of Agricultural Sciences, Senior Researcher Oksana SERHIIENKO, Head of the Laboratory of Genetics, Genetic Resources, and Biotechnology, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Tetiana IVCHENKO, and Acting Director of the Donetsk Research Station of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing NAAS, Doctor of Philosophy Zakhar LINNIK.

The results of the Plant Breeding Division’s activities for 2021–2025 and its main future tasks were reviewed. Reports from full members of the NAAS Plant Breeding Division, NAAS academicians, and corresponding members, as well as future tasks, were also heard.
