Participation in the webinar "Vertical farms: development strategies, working business models and risks"
On December 14, 2022, the head of the laboratory, genetics, genetic resources and biotechnology, Tetyana IVCHENKO, gave a speech at the Zoom webinar "Vertical farms: development strategies, working business models and risks", which was organized by the EastFruit project with the support of the EBRD and FAO for the countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The speakers of the webinar were practical experts from Italy, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. T. V. Ivchenko analyzed the main risks of the spread of diseases and pests when organizing the production of fruit and vegetable products in vertical farms and presented ways to overcome them.
