Participation in a peer-to-peer session as part of the FatmHelp-II project
On March 28, 2026, Oksana SERHIIENKO, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences and expert advisor, Deputy Director for Scientific Research at the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, together with the heads of: Oleksandr KHODAKOVSKYI of the Charitable Foundation «Agrarian Development,» Vadym SHYIAN of the Public Union «Interregional Union of Poultry Farmers and Feed Producers of Ukraine,» and Svitlana BEREZHNA, a representative of the international humanitarian organization CORUS INTERNATIONAL, participated in a peer-to-peer session as part of the FatmHelp-II project, serving as an expert advisor at an event organized for recipients of microgrants for vegetable and melon cultivation.
Important issues were discussed regarding the project’s specific features, current challenges, and ways to address them. The project aims to provide targeted financial support to the agricultural sector and local communities to ensure their food security and foster the development of new agricultural producers.
The event took place in the village of Malynivka, Chuhuiv District, Kharkiv Region. Advisory activities are ongoing.
