Participation in professional development courses

From June 6 to June 9, 2023 (on-line), training courses for scientific workers were held at the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian Region of the National Academy of Agricaltural Sciences in the direction of "Scientific principles of the formation of highly productive agrocenoses of agricultural crops".

Nelya Viktorivna Chefonova, candidate of agricultural sciences, senior researcher of the laboratory of adaptive vegetable growing, storage and standardization, improved her qualifications at the courses.

The training program included the following areas:

  • modern farming systems, geobiological aspects of ecologically safe farming;
  • agro-ecological foundations of preserving and reproducing the fertility of acidic soils;
  • the prospects of using elements of "quiet technologies" against the background of by-products from the cultivation of agricultural crops;
  • innovative approaches to assessing the stability of soil organic matter;
  • selection work and basic aspects of potato growing technology; selection bases of creation of source material of perennial grasses;
  • formation and preservation of plant genetic resources;
  • scientific foundations of seed production of agricultural crops;
  • formation of productivity of winter wheat depending on elements of technology and weather factors;
  • technological aspects of growing buckwheat and its economic importance;
  • fungal diseases of winter cereals and their harmfulness;
  • peculiarities of the formation of highly productive meadow agrophytocenoses;
  • peculiarities of creating hayfields and pastures in the conditions of Precarpathia;
  • restoration of the natural resource potential of meadow grasses of various ages;
  • creation and use of meadow agroecosystems based on the preservation of their biodiversity.

According to the results of the study, a corresponding certificate was obtained.
