Internship of Institute employees at the Latvian University of Natural Sciences and Technologies

Our colleagues take an active part in various scientific projects as part of their scientific internship at the Latvian University of Natural Sciences and Technologies:

Researchers, candidates of sciences Tetiana Mykhailivna Garbovska and Yuriy Mykolayovych Syromyatnikov, together with their Latvian colleagues under the leadership of Ilze Vircava, Doctor of Geological Sciences, took part in a large-scale survey of the soil cover of an orchard (determination of agrochemical and agrophysical parameters), which was planted in the coastal zone with the introduction of reclamation and technological measures and for controlling the main climatic conditions for growing fruit trees.

Researcher, PhD (Agr.) Nataliya Oleksandrivna Kyryukhina, under the guidance of the assistant of the Department of Agrotechnical Research and Variety Testing of Imants Missa, took part in establishing in the field collections of support and propagation of winter garlic varieties, accounting for the yield of berry crops (lingonberries) in research on determining the effectiveness of different fertilization systems.
