Working meeting between Dr. O.V. Melnуk, a researcher at the institute, and faculty members of the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Biotechnology

On May 13, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing between O.V. Melnуk, Head of the Department of Advanced Technologies for Vegetable and Melon Cultivation and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, and faculty members of the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Biotechnology — R.V. Kуrуchenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences; M.V. Bakum, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Professor; and S.O. Dіakonov, Candidate of Technical Sciences.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the status of research on the development of resource-saving potato cultivation technology in open fields. They identified avenues for further cooperation between the institutions. Separately, they discussed issues related to student training and the work of stakeholders in implementing educational and methodological programs and conducting joint events. A cooperation agreement was drafted based on the results of the meeting.
