On June 26, 2023, the director of the institute Oleksandr Kuts and doctoral student Yuriy Syromyatnikov took part in an online working meeting on the preparation of a grant project in the "Horizon Europe" program under the challenge "Sustainable Landscapes: Nurturing Nature's Resilience Against Desertification"
Scientists from Hungary (Albitech Biotechnológiai Kft), Spain (University of Castilla-La Mancha), Latvia (Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies) also took part in the work of the working group, who presented their organizations and voiced their contribution to the future project. Oleksandr Kuts presented the areas of scientific work of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences.
