Acceptance of experiments
On July 12, 2022, in accordance with the schedule for the acceptance of experiments under the tasks of Scientific Research Program 20 "Vegetable and melon growing" by the commission for accepting experiments consisting of: director of the Institute of Scientific Research of the National Academy of Sciences O. V. Kuts, acting deputy director for scientific work and scientific secretary O. V. Sergienko, head of the department of selection and seed production of vegetable and melon crops S. I. Kondratenko, head of the laboratory of innovation and investment development of the vegetable market and intellectual property O. M. Mohylnya, head of the department of the latest technologies cultivation of vegetable and melon crops Vitanova O.D., acting head of the laboratory of adaptive vegetable growing, storage and standardization Shcherbyna S.O. carried out acceptance of experiments on two tasks:
task 20.00.02.10.P "Development of elements of green asparagus production technology in the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine" (Supervisor: Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor T.V. IVCHENKO)
In accordance with the 2022 stage - "Investigation of the parameters of growth, development and productivity of medicinal asparagus hybrids depending on the characteristics of the hybrid and the conditions of the growing season", the commission for acceptance of experiments conducted a thorough study of the state of experiments, their compliance with the technical task, work programs and generally accepted methods. It was established that scientific research on the task of the GDR was carried out in full. Phenological observations of the growth and development of 23 asparagus hybrids of the 4th year of vegetation were carried out, a list of hybrids of early, middle and late growth periods of green asparagus was determined in the conditions of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. An analysis of the general and early marketability of green asparagus of different hybrids was carried out. The approbation traits were described and the hybrids with the highest yield and spear density were determined (Atlas, Guelph Equinox, Greenic). Commercial products of the best 11 hybrids are placed in a refrigerator for short-term storage. According to the results of the research, the executors of the task, taking into account the fact that the growth of early, medium and late hybrids of asparagus took place with an interval of 5-7 days, concluded that in order to organize a conveyor belt for the uninterrupted production of green asparagus for three months, it is necessary to plant hybrids of different growth periods, as well as apply temporary frame shelters made of fiberglass and mulching the soil with straw.

The effect of biotic factors (biological means of plant protection) on the formation of the quality and productivity of onion vegetable plants is determined. According to the results of observations, it was determined that the use of biological preparations Mycohelp + Bitoxibacillin and Fitohelp + Actoverm for the treatment of planting material of winter garlic provides a reliable increase in the winter hardiness of plants compared to the control (89.0) by 8%. The use of Fitohelp and Mycohelp drugs during the growing season of the crop was not inferior in effectiveness to the recommended drug Fundazol in controlling downy mildew and rust pathogens.
