Sowing is in full swing

In this difficult time for our country, despite the fact that part of the employees left (abroad and to the western regions), as well as the destruction of the institution's buildings by Russian aircraft, the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is working as usual, and for some in general, the volumes of production increased. The program of scientific research has been fully established, all early vegetables (onions, carrots, beets), seeds of vegetable plants and early grain crops have been sown under production activities, and late vegetable plants (cucumber, zucchini, squash, watermelon, pumpkin, melon) are currently being sown. Seedlings of vegetable plants (tomato, pepper, eggplant, sweet potato) are grown not only for their own needs, but also for community residents. In addition to seedlings, asparagus, vegetables after storage, potatoes, and green crops are supplied to local markets.

We are sincerely grateful to our entire team for conscientious and fruitful work in such difficult times for the country. Together we will stand and rebuild our country and our Institute. We hold on, we work! Everything will be Ukraine!
