Participation in a peer-to-peer session as part of the FatmHelp-II project

On March 21, 2026, Oksana SERHIIENKO, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences and Deputy Director for Research at the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, along with the following leaders: Oleksandr KHODAKOVSKYI of the «Agrarian Development» Charitable Foundation, Vadym SHYIAN, Head of the Public Association «Interregional Union of Poultry Farmers and Feed Producers of Ukraine,» and Svitlana BEREZHNA, representative of the international humanitarian organization CORUS INTERNATIONAL, participated in a peer-to-peer session as part of the FatmHelp-II project in the capacity of an expert advisor, in an event organized for recipients of microgrants for the production of vegetable and melon crops.

Important issues regarding its characteristics, current challenges, and ways to address them were discussed. The project aims to provide targeted financial support to the agricultural sector and local communities to ensure their food security and foster the development of new agricultural producers.

The event took place in the village of Novopokrovka, Chuhuiv District, Kharkiv Region.

Consulting activities are ongoing.
