Council of Young Scientists of IVM of NAAS

The aim of the Council is to unite young scientists and specialists to activate their research potential; assistance in improving scientific qualification, professional level, solving social problems of young scientists and specialists of IVM of NAAS.

• Encouragement and implementation of organizational and informational support of researches, technical and implementation activities of young scientists (for grants, conferences, lectures and other events).

• Establishing contacts with organizations, enterprises and associations, public authorities and local governments, structures for joint projects and programs aimed at creating and developing effective links between young scientists and specialists of IVM of NAAS with partners in other regions of Ukraine and abroad.

• Holding conferences, meetings, seminars, discussions, lectures and other events that promote the professional growth and unification of young scientists and professionals through the exchange of information, opinions, ideas on current practical and theoretical problems and issues.

• Presentation to moral and material (scholarships on behalf of outstanding scientists of IVM of NAAS, awards, etc.) stimulation of the most active young scientists of IVM of NAAS for successful scientific activity and active participation in solving the tasks of the Council.

• Promoting the organization and holding of sports and health and cultural events among young scientists and professionals.

• Interacting with the academic council, administration, trade union committee of IVM of NAAS for the purpose of scientific growth of youth and assistance in protection of their social rights.

• Exercising public control over the observance of the rights and responsibilities of young scientists. 

    The highest body of the Council is the Assembly, which meets by decision of the Council or on the initiative of at least 1/3 of the members of the Council (but not less than 4 times a year).

For the Day of Science, the institute has launched an annual award for young scientists nd. a. Oleksandr Kuzomenskyi based on the results of scientific activity based on rating analysis.
